This is an epitaph by Robert Burns. It was written in 1784 and is read here by Paul Higgins.
Ralph McLeanThis epitaph is dated 1784 and appears in the First Commonplace Book, under the title, ‘Epitaph on Wm. Hood, Senr. In Tarbolton.
It is included as one of the epitaphs in the Kilmarnock edition.
