Sound Track (2000)

About this work:
In 1998 AudioRom produced a site-specific work connecting Liverpool and Manchester Railway Stations which used the railway as a metaphor to explore the link between two remote sites via networks. The links between the industrial and the digital revolution were key in composing the music for this original work. The music was composed and produced in component parts using string instruments and found sounds from the two stations.

About the artists:
The collective have been working together for over 5 years releasing their music as enhanced multimedia CD-ROM's, such as the BAFTA winning 'ShiftControl'. The group tour internationally on a regular basis with their unique and innovative set of interactive installations and performances.
