About this work:
"Fred's is about life and art as seen from the viewpoint of a group of regular customers that frequent a South London cafe..."Excerpt from Fred's Part 1
"Matt: Went to another show last night, you should come along, plenty of free wine.
Tina: Not my scene, I'm always afraid that someone might ask me what I think and only here for the beer hardly seems an appropriate response.
Matt: Don't worry the art world can always spot a non artist, no one will go near you.
Tina: They might mistake me for an important dealer or collector?
Matt: Not in that gear. I'm afraid grunge chic isn't in anymore and your grunge just isn't expensive enough.
Tina: What was last night's show like?
Matt: Well there's this artist who comes into your gaff it could be your home or a place of work and like rearranges the furniture.
Tina: Like an interior designer.
Matt: Not quite though there are similarities, they rearrange it so that it looks a mess and then they collect all this mess and carefully place it in a corner.
Tina: They place all this crap in a corner.
Matt: Yeah crap in a corner. It's a metaphor about 21st century city dwelling.
Tina: Crap in a corner I suppose that about sums it up.
Matt: It's brilliant I don't know how this person thought it up, crap in a corner it's amazing."
