Donaghadee Harbour and Lighthouse Donaghadee Harbour and Lighthouse, County Down. The harbour's foundation stone was laid on 1st August 1821. The harbour consists of two piers running north westwards out to sea, converging at the outer ends to form a harbour mouth 150 feet wide. The lighthouse was completed 14 years later, in November 1834
