Gary Cooper talks about the horsemanship that helped him to get his early start in films and the luck he believes is behind his long and successful career.
Conducted for use in an edition of 'Woman's Hour', this recording contains occasional interference that was removed from the broadcast version.
At the time this interview was recorded, Gary Cooper was already very ill with cancer. He died later the same year, on 13 May 1961.
