Texan basketball player Robert Jackson Robinson recounts his visit to Buckingham Palace and describes the difficulty he experienced in working out the correct way to end the conversation with King George.
Robinson and his team won the gold medal for basketball in the 1948 Olympics, beating France in the final. Later, the athlete went on to become Reverend Robinson and completed part of his studies in theology at Edinburgh University.
