BBC News reports on the debate currently taking place in the House of Commons on whether or not the age of consent for homosexual men should be lowered. Strong opinions are expressed in the House and by people in the Conservative constituency visited by Edwina Currie, but it is generally felt that the vote will go in favour of lowering the relevant age to 18 rather than 16.

This programme contains language and views that some may find offensive.
