Welcome to the wonderful world of Caraidean, which means 'Friends' in Gaelic, a new online soap where you control what happens! Join Sìleas and Marsaili and their friends each week to listen to a new Gaelic phrase and decide what course their lives take.

Episode 49

As they walk, taking in the sites, Màrsaili and Sìleas swap notes on last night’s dance. Both agree it was a blast. Màrsaili claims she had the feeling that dark, brooding eyes followed her from a dimly lit corner for the whole evening. She is soon in full flow, fleshing out who it could have been, why etc, etc. Well used to such histrionics from her chum, Sìleas tries to break this reverie by launching, in some detail, into an animated conversation outlining her suggestions for the next stage of their trip. They continue along the coast, talking over each other, until a, seemingly disembodied, gravelly voice cuts across their chat with the words “Sin sibh, a chlann-nighean.” (There you are, girls).
