Christening bracelets

Contributed by BBC York and N Yorks events

These Christening bracelets have been used by generations of Rebecca's family.

The one in the centre is the original bracelet and was used by her great great grandfather.

When a baby in the family is baptised, they get a new bracelet of their own which is worn for the christening along with the orginal which is the one in the centre of the picture.

All the bracelets are silver and were made in Birmingham.
