Clacton Butlins' umbrella

Butlins umbrella uploaded on behalf of Colin Preen on the BBC Bus at an A History of the World event in Clacton. It was given to Colin by the camp's personnel manager when the Clacton site closed to guests on 23rd September 1983. It was given to him whilst he was overseeing the sale and handover to Atlas Park. Colin was the last person to be made redundant by Butlins at Clacton in April 1984. The umbrella has the slogan "Rain Never Stops Play at Butlins".
