Fordson N Tractor

Contributed by The Devon Show

This Ford N Tractor was built in 1942 three years before the production of this model was stopped. It was instrumental in providing food crops for the country throughout the war on a farm in Poundstock, North Cornwall. It has a metal seat which is sprung to give a more comfortable ride over bumpy land. It has one pedal for the brake and clutch and the only protection from the weather is a sack to go over your head. It was used right up until 1971 when it was bought by Dennis who lives in the same area.
