It is a guano bag seal, brought to the BBC bus by Stuart Elton. Guano is a mixture of bird droppings and is used as an agricultural fertiliser. The company had a contract to buy the fertiliser from Peru. It was found in a farm field in Langham near Colchester. Stuart collects images of bag seals and has almost 1,000 images.
