Postcard

During the First World War, soldiers often kept in touch with loved ones back home by sending postcards from the front. This example was sent by Mr Henry Craxford to his family back in 'blighty'. The postcard is of Rouen in France and the postcard shows the field postmark.

Mr Craxford reports to his family he is feeling 'A1' and he was one of the lucky ones as he returned safely.
