Folding glasses

Contributed by The Priory CofE Primary School

This is a pair of child's glasses from some time during the 1800s.

They are particularly unusual because they have a number of hinges which allow them to be folded. They came with a very small case which they fit into.

They were found in the attic of my Grandparent's house.
