Dylan Thomas' worksheets

Two original manuscript worksheets for Dylan Thomas's 'Poem in October'. Dylan worked meticulously on his poems, spending hours getting one word right. He used word lists, and made his own rhyming dictionary. These are two of over 250 worksheets for this poem alone. Dylan Thomas was born in Swansea on 27 October, 1914. He worked on this poem in the summer of 1944, and it was published in his collection, 'Deaths and Entrances' (1946) to great critical acclaim. Many of Thomas' worksheets and notebooks are in the States, which makes it even more important to have these on permanent display in his hometown.
