John Doy brought in the family owned gown to the BBC event at Ipswich Museum on Tuesday, 16 February, 2010.
The garment was made by John's grandfather for his uncle's christening in 1910, has seen at least eight people christened and was last used in 2009, serving four generations of the same family.
