A silver engraved cigarette box presented by Captain Pochin, a local industrialist, to my grand father H.Buffey. Both served in the Leicestershire Regiment. The inscription commemmorates Buffey's three years service on the front line during World War I between 1915 and 1918. The Pochin family were well-known landowners in the Barkby area of Leicestershire.
