Wooden Rake

This large wooden rake would no doubt have been used on a farm quite regularly, its long handle and wide head suggest its usefulness as a tool, but also how heavy it must have been to wield. It is one of many within the museum, all of differing shapes and sizes, and ties into our display of tools and machines used in the craft of making these wooden objects: one of many crafts that makes up our rural heritage.
