19th Century Stoneware Jug

This red clay pot was made in the middle of the 19th Century and was used to keep water brought from a well.

Paul Botwright took the item to the BBC Suffolk event at Ipswich Museum on Tuesday, 16 February, 2010 to share its story.

The jug was passed down through the generations and originally belonged to Paul's great grandmother.
