Snider rifle

Contributed by Antiques Roadshow - St Fagans

This 577 Snider Mk 1 Sergeant's Short Rifle is a prototype which disappeared and turned up 140 years later. It's the only one left of its kind. I acquired it at Brecon Military Collectors Fair.

I just got a snider with a 32" barrel and is 48.5" in long. It has one band at the end with a dot sight. The thing that flips to the right has a groove for the back sight. What is it worth.
