Pocket Power Station

Leading edge technology in the 1950s, this was "The Robot Power Station", first of her kind in the world. A lighweight gas turbine that could be controlled over the Post Office telephone network and started or stopped as required. Electricity companies from all over the world came to see her in the first year of operation.

Derived from an aircraft power unit she is the grandmother of all the current "jet" powered generating sets that can be found all over the world.
