Fragement from the H.M.S Princes Irene

The minelayer HMS Princes Irene suffered a catastrophic internal explosion in Sheerness Dockyard on the 27th May 1915 at 11:14am.

This item is a fragement of a porthole that was found on the Isle of Sheppey. The item has been stamped with the name of the ship and the date of the explosion.
