The embroided book is a collection of diferent sketches, drawings and drawings made by WWI soldiers, as they recovered from their injuries in hospital. It is owned by Barrie Churchill in Poole - a WWI nurse passed it on to his grandmother. The nurse thought painting pictures would help the soldiers in their recovery from their war injuries.
