Bantock House Museum is named after Baldwin and Kitty Bantock who lived in the house 100 years ago.
The decor throughout the house is very much inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement. Upstairs, the focus shifts to the men and women who shaped Wolverhampton and the industries they created.
This object is typical of the type of item these people would have collected. Its a Staffordshire pottery figurine, featuring the trio - TURKEY, ENGLAND, FRANCE. The figures depicted are Napoleon 111 of France, Empress Eugenie and the Sultan of Turkey.
