Victorian Wedding Dress

This is a Victorian wedding dress and dates from the 1840s. It's a family heirloom. Shows how people were much smaller in those days, and the fashion of the age.

    interesting that the white wedding dress didn't come into fashion until after 1840, when Queen Victoria wore a white dress because she wanted to incorporate some valuable white lace into her outfit.
