Hosted by BBC Radio Newcastle's Simon Pryde this is a chance to hear tales from behind the microphone with Radio Newcastle's Mick Lowes and 5 live's Alistair Bruce Ball and Ian Dennis.
8-9.30pm: Shearer Night (Centre for Life)
5 live sport brings you an evening with Alan Shearer. The former Newcastle United and England striker takes questions from the audience.
He'll also reflect on his playing career including his championship winning season at Blackburn, his highs and lows with England and of course his ten years at Newcastle United.

10.30-1am: Tony Livesey
Live late night entertainment from South Shields. Former Newcastle and England defender Steve Howey talks football with Sunderland captain Michael Gray, and other guests include former Newcastle midfielder John Anderson and North East comedian, Tony Jameson.
There's also music from local bands The Futureheads, Little Comets and Lanterns on the Lake.

Phil Williams is live from the Gateshead Harriers athletics club, where he'll be getting some last minute tips for the Great North Run. He'll speak to some of the run organisers, and look ahead to London 2012 with some athletics hopefuls.
