Officers say there are still 11 fans they want to identify and question |
Police have made 27 arrests following trouble after September's Swansea City and Cardiff City Carling Cup match. Last month they issued images of over 30 men they wanted to talk to about violence after the game at Swansea's Liberty Stadium. Seven have been charged, 17 bailed pending further inquiries, two released with no action and two identified but not yet questioned. Fresh photographs of 11 other men have been released to try to identify them. Police set up Operation Cybil following disturbances at the derby match, the first major game between the Championship teams in nine years. A spokesman said: "There are a total of 11 males outstanding whose photographs were originally circulated and are yet to be to be identified. "Officers are urging the remaining 11 individuals concerned or anyone who is able to identify any of them to make contact Swansea Police."
