The Llanelli Scarlets are calling for people to "see the bigger picture" over the club's planned stadium move. Chief executive Stuart Gallacher says the side is at risk after the assembly government decided to call in its plans to build 450 homes at Stradey Park.
Without planning approval or a new source of funds soon, the club faces the "real threat" of closure, he said.
Around 7,000 fact sheets explaining the Scarlets' position were handed out at the game against Glasgow on Friday.
It states the call-in will cost the club at least 2m in delays, with "a real threat" to the side's future.
The main points the Scarlets make are:
- The club delayed its planning bid for almost a year to prepare consultants' reports
- This delay "stretched our financial resources to the limit" and made planning approval in the July "absolutely crucial"
- Unplanned costs of planning call-in "exceed 2m"
- Maps claiming Stradey Park are a flood risk are "not accurate"
- The Environment Agency now accepts site's tidal flooding risk is "remote"
- The club has faced "misleading speculation" and "unfounded comment" on its plan
