The Vetch has been home to the Swans for 93 years |
Swansea fans attending the club's last ever game at the Vetch at the end of this month are being asked to draw up a list of songs they want played. The football club aims to create a party atmosphere for the sell-out match with Shrewsbury Town on 30 April.
The Supporters' Trust wants requests for the pre-match and half-time entertainment at the ground.
Fans' who have a favourite song they associate with the Vetch have been asked to nominate their golden oldies.
At the end of the season the Swans will move with the Ospreys regional rugby side to the new 20,000 all-seater stadium which is being finished at Landore.
The Shrewsbury game will be the club's last in its 93 years at the Vetch, assuming the promotion-chasing Swans do not have play in the Division Two play-offs.
Events have been held throughout the year to mark the end of the Vetch era.
Paul Morris, associate director of the Supporters' Trust, said fans had taken a number of different songs to their hearts over the years from the Woody Woodpecker theme to Can't Take My Eyes Off You.
"There will be supporters of all ages who will have tunes which they associate with the Vetch and in particular, their time as supporters," he said.
"Everyone has their own unique memories of times spent watching the ups and downs of our club from the stands and terraces.
"To help us create a fitting atmosphere on this special day, we would like to encourage all Swans fans to send us their chosen song giving a brief reason why it holds such fond memories."
Match day presenters Steve Mabbett and Julian Buckley will compile a play-list of the most requested songs which will form part of the match-day entertainment.
