Rosie Swale Pope has reached Omsk in south western Siberia |
Round-the-world runner Rosie Swale Pope has issued an SOS for sponsorship so she can continue her challenge. The 57-year-old grandmother has completed 4,188 miles and is in Omsk in south western Siberia after leaving her home in Tenby last October.
But she is short of money and does not want to eat into funds earmarked for the charity she is helping.
Before she embarks on the next leg of her journey she is hoping for help to buy essentials such as food.

Rosie is running to raise money for the Ecologia Trust which operates a children's home in Kitezh, Russia, and to raise awareness of prostate cancer after the death of her husband Clive.
Liza Hollingshead of the Ecologia Trust said: "I spoke to her yesterday and she was very cheerful and her usual bubbly self.
"She has been sleeping in the forest and making excellent progress.
"She has not run into any big problems so far.
"She did mention that she was running short of funds for herself but she is determined that none of the money pledged for Kitezh is spent on her.
"It's not an immediate problem but it would be a real shame if she ran into trouble because of this."
She said Rosie was afraid of tackling the most difficult section of her run without money for food.
She plans to complete the next leg of 415 miles to Novosibirsk before catching a train back to Omsk in order to turn the city's annual marathon.
A change of tactics sees Rosie running with her 17 kilogram rucksack in a child's buggy which she pushes in front of her rather than carrying it on her back.
Mrs Hollingshead Ecologia hopes to find a new sponsor to fund the rest of her epic run.
