The fridges have been washed-up at Presipe Bay |
Dozens of brand new fridges have been washed ashore off the Pembrokeshire coast. They were in a shipping container that has smashed against rocks at Presipe Bay near Manorbier, scattering debris along the coast.
A second container full of raisins has been found at Caldey Island near Tenby.
They might be part of the cargo washed off a ship in the Bristol Channel during stormy weather a week ago.

Pembrokeshire Council will co-ordinate the clean-up operation but says it could prove tricky as Presipe Bay is difficult to reach over land.
A spokesman for the authority said it did not believe there would be any long-term environmental damage.
But a phone line has been set-up for people to report findings of further debris.
A council spokesman said: "The container and fridges have been smashed to smithereens.
"There is a danger if people tried to pick up the wreckage that they could get cut as it is very sharp.

"At the moment it looks as if we, as a local authority, will have the job of clearing it up.
"This particular bay is not particularly accessible and we might have to call in specialists.
"The wreckage might have to be removed by sea."
The containers are believed to have come from a ship called the Ryfgell which was on its way from Dublin to Avonmouth when it reported to coastguards part of its cargo was washed into the sea by waves.
Martin Watkins from Environment Agency Wales said the organisation was keeping in close touch with council officials to provide any advice needed.
Anyone who finds debris that appears to have come from the containers is asked to phone Pembrokeshire Council on 0845 6021386.
