Kalan Kawa Karim was attacked outside a Swansea pub |
Police have arrested another two local men in connection with the murder of a refugee in Swansea city centre. Kalan Kawa Karim, a 29-year-old Iraqi Kurdish man, died in hospital after he was attacked outside a pub on the Kingsway.
Detectives say a youth and a 30-year-old are being questioned.
Meanwhile, the Foreign Office has confirmed it will help to return the body of Mr Karim to northern Iraq.
South Wales Police have said any information in relation to Mr Karim's death will help their investigation.
Charged
They want to speak to a youth seen on CCTV at 2344BST on 5 September on the Kingsway, at a bus stop near to the McDonalds restaurant.
Detectives hope this man can provide information and in a statement issued on Wednesday they described him as having a "dark European appearance, with shoulder-length dark hair, in his twenties, with a goatee beard."
He was wearing a beige top with red arms, and blue jeans.
On Tuesday Lee Mordecai, 26, from the Swansea area, appeared before the city's magistrates charged with the murder of Mr Karim.
Foreign Office
Police say that although Mr Mordecai has already been charged with murder and appeared in court, the investigation will continue.
He has been remanded in custody until 24 September when he will appear before Swansea Crown Court.
Mr Karim's wife and parents wish to bury his body in his home city of Dahuk in northern Iraq.
Following the plea from his family a senior official from the Foreign Office has told the Swansea East MP, Donald Anderson, the Government will intervene to cut through the red tape and return his body to his homeland.
