River body is missing man

Missing man Craig Lucas
A body found in a Swansea river has been identified as a 21-year-old legal executive missing from his Llanelli home for two weeks.

An appeal for information was launched when Craig Lucas of Havelock Street failed to return home after a night out in the city.

South Wales Police divers spent several days searching Swansea Marina and vegetation near the nightclub where he was last seen.

The force's helicopter was also used to scour the bay in the hunt.

A body was discovered in the River Tawe on Saturday and police confirmed on Tuesday it was Mr Lucas.

He worked for Llansamlet solicitors John Collins, having graduated from Coventry University last year.

Detectives say investigations are continuing, but add they do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances.
