Chris Gascoyne was arrested on 30 December

Mr Gascoyne, who played Peter Barlow in the TV soap, is due before magistrates in Llandudno next week.

He appeared as Captain Hook in Peter Pan, which played to packed houses in the seaside town until last Sunday.

North Wales Police said a 39-year-old man from the Manchester area was arrested early on Sunday 30 December.

Mr Gascoyne was last in Coronation Street, where he played betting shop manager Barlow, a year ago.
