Police investigate quad bike death
Police investigation
An investigation has been launched after a builder died in an accident involving a quad bike on farmland in north Wales.

Police and the Health and Safety Executive are to carry out an inquiry into the incident at Rhyd-Ddu in Gwynedd on Saturday.

Brian Williams, 57, from nearby Beddgelert, was carrying out maintenance work on the farm when it is thought he lost control of the machine.

A neighbour said Mr Williams was well known in the village.

He said: "It's a very small village so we all knew Brian.

"Everybody is very shocked and upset that this has happened."
