Man dies in Anglesey crash

One vehicle overturned and one was on fire
A man has been killed in a road crash in which a car overturned and another was on fire on Anglesey.

Three ambulances attended the scene of the collision, which involved four cars, near the village of Rhosmeirch, near Llangefni, at around 1630 GMT on Thursday.

North Wales Police have named the dead man as Gerwyn Parry, aged 27, from Llannerch-y-medd, who was driving a Fiat Punto

He died at the scene of the collision..

Two people were taken to Bangor's Ysbyty Gwynedd hospital with slight injuries - a woman who was a passenger in the Punto and the driver of a BMW, a 22-year-old man.

Two other drivers declined hospital treatment - the driver of a Nissan, a man aged 35, and the driver of a Peugeot, a woman aged 56.

Firefighters were also in attendance.

The collision happened about two miles outside Rhosmeirch on the B5111.

The road was closed for several hours and police officers have began an investigation.
