Vandals destroy disabled bus
Gerry Davies
Vandals came back to destroy the bus after a recent attack

A minibus used by a disabled and children's football team has been destroyed by vandals who attacked it for the second time.

Vandals attacked the Llandudno Football Club bus on Monday night used to take disabled footballers and young players, aged from eight to 16, to away matches.

The bus was first vandalised two weeks ago when a window was broken.

Llandudno's disabled team, one of only two in Wales, often have to travel long distances to away matches and played against Chelsea last week.

Now they have no means of transport and the club's acting chairman, Gerry Davies, is appealing for help.

"This was disgraceful behaviour and whoever did this has hurt the kids and people in their own community - it's very sad," he said. "Our under-13s team have been drawn away to play Trearddur Bay in Anglesey in the North Wales Youth Cup.

"We have no transport to take them to play away.

"I don't know what we are going to do - we're just snookered." Mr Davies has asked anyone who can help the club to contact him on 01492 860945.

North Wales Police are investigating the incident.
