Police are getting tough against anti-social offenders |
A 15-year-old boy who twice ignored an anti-social behaviour order against him is beginning 18 months in custody. Magistrates sentenced Kane Williams from Mochdre, Conwy, to a detention and training order after hearing of a series of offences.
John Davies, the chair of Llandudno youth court, also said Williams' identity should be revealed.
He said it was in the public interest for people to know that when anti-social behaviour orders were breached, action was taken.
Williams was first made the subject of the order last October, with a series of prohibitions.
He was the first person in Conwy to have an order imposed on him.

However, the court was told Williams had been found guilty of affray - and breaching his order - after he was involved in a fight at Rhs-on-Sea on 5 May.
Williams also pleaded guilty to other offences - including criminal damage and assaulting police.
Magistrates were told that the teenager breached the anti-social behaviour order when he entered a pub at Mochdre and threatened the landlord when he was told to leave.
Earlier this month North Wales Police revealed a new tougher policy towards anti-social offenders.
They are naming and shaming people convicted of anti-social behaviour.
Leaflets with photos and personal details of people who are made the subject of anti-social behaviour orders are being distributed.
Eliminating anti-social offenders is also one of the main planks of the Government's crime strategy.
