Cot death baby died in tent
Ysbyty Gwynedd
Callum was pronounced dead at Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor

A baby boy died of cot death during a camping holiday in north Wales with his parents, an inquest heard.

Callum Christy, who was two-and-a-half months old, had been sleeping in a tent between his parents Philip Christy and Ellen Snell, from Fleetwood, Lancashire, when he died.

The family were staying at a campsite near Criccieth, in August last year.

Mr Christy attempted to resuscitate his son who was then taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor.

Callum was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Coroner Dewi Pritchard-Jones said he died of cot death and recorded a verdict of death by natural causes.
