A bride-to-be kicked off a Race for Life event on Sunday in a wedding dress and trainers. Kerry Pimley was one of 24 brides or brides-to-be who started simultaneous races across the UK as part of the One Big Day promotion.
Miss Pimley, 19, was running for Cancer Research because her aunt has had the disease although she is in remission.
Around 3,600 women registered to run in Rhyl's two races on Sunday.
The receptionist, who is from Rhyl, said: "This cause is very close to my heart as my aunt, who I am very close to, has had cancer."

Miss Pimley, who ran the race last year, was at the head of a crowd of 1,800 runners for the five kilometre race along the promenade.
She said beforehand: "Running a race in my wedding dress will be a first - but luckily no-one will see that I'm wearing trainers underneath!"
