Police are trying to trace a man armed with a gun who tried to rob a bank in Rhyl, Denbighshire. The man threatened staff and customers at the Halifax branch on Russell Road in the town on Wednesday.
North Wales Police said no money was stolen in the attempted robbery at around 1625 GMT.
The man, believed to be between 25 and 30 fled from the bank on foot.
He was seen running towards Paradise Street in the seaside town.
Police have described the man as tall and thin. He was wearing a dark woollen hat and a black jacket and jogging bottoms.
