Thomas Baybutt was killed on farmland
Police are investigating the death of a young boy following an accident with a fork lift truck on farmland in north Wales.

Eight year old Thomas Frank Baybutt, from Ormskirk, Lancashire, was pronounced dead at the scene.

He had been staying with family at Sealand, Flintshire when the accident happened.

A family liaison officer has been appointed to speak to the youngster's relatives.

A spokeswoman for the force said they were informed of the incident around 1205 BST on Wednesday.

"At this stage their appears to be no suspicious circumstances," she added.

The coroner has been informed of the death and a joint investigation has been launched by North Wales Police and the Health and Safety Executive.
