Moneysupermarkets.com have seen trade increase
Up to 300 jobs will be created in north Wales with the expansion of two firms.

Moneysupermarket.com, an internet site which acts as a one-stop shop for financial services, plans to double its workforce within the next year.

More than 200 people already work at the company's premises on St David's Park in Ewloe.

"We have started recruitment already," said spokeswoman Lynne Rees.

"The vacancies go from administration level through to management.

"We hope to have an extra 200 staff by the end of the year," she added.

Trailer company Ifor Williams plan to expand

The company's online site deals with advice on mortgages, loans and credit cards.

When Ms Rees joined the company five years ago she said they were based in a small terraced house in Hoole near Chester.

Ifor Williams Trailers also plans to open a new manufacturing plant on the Deeside Industrial Estate, creating 80 new jobs.

The announcement comes on the day bosses and union representatives are locked in crucial talks with representatives from conciliation service ACAS.

The company already has factories in Cynwyd, Bala and Corwen.

It is envisaged that the Deeside plant will be operational within the next three months and will be at full capacity early next year.
