A woman has told how she ran to escape a mudslide from a hill above her home after several days of heavy rain. Sally Morris, of Brecon, Powys, was clearing a drain outside when mud crushed a wall at the rear of the family home.
Mrs Morris, who lives with her husband and four children, described how she ran to safety as she saw the debris rushing towards her.
Firefighters said the house was under threat from a further mudslide.
The incident occurred shortly before 0800 GMT on Tuesday. Mrs Morris added that some water had entered her home, called Forge Farmhouse, as well.

Mid and West Wales Fire Service said the hill remained unsafe, and its firefighters and Powys Council staff were at the scene laying sandbags.
Mrs Morris said: "I was clearing out a drain and I heard what sounded like a gust of wind, but when I looked up I saw the hill collapsing before me.
"I was quite scared at this stage and ran away. The mud then destroyed a wall near our home and stopped in a turning area on our drive. There is some water in our house too."
Mrs Morris said it had rained for several days, and the ground in the area was soft as a result.
Heavy rain has caused problems elsewhere in mid Wales.
On the trains, services between Newtown and Aberystwyth and Machynlleth and Tywyn, Gwynedd, were cancelled until 1000 GMT.
Arriva Trains Wales temporarily replaced the services with buses.
Meanwhile, Powys Council has closed the Dyfi Bridge on the A487 between Machynlleth and Aberystwyth. Diversions are in place.
The A483 junction at Sarnybryncaled in Welshpool and the A490, near Mid Wales Airport in the town, was closed in the afternoon.
In south Wales, heavy rain caused disruption to train services and left some homes flooded.
South Wales Fire Service were called to Clara Street in Tonypandy, Rhondda Cynon Taf, to help pump out water from four houses in the road.
Further heavy showers are forecast for Tuesday.
