More than 200 people have attended a meeting to oppose the threatened closure of a mid Wales hospital. The meeting on Monday night heard services such as beds could be cut at Cardigan hospital.
Ceredigion and Mid Wales NHS Trust and Ceredigion Local Health Board said no decision had been taken, but they were looking at options for saving money.
Tregaron hospital is also under threat and last week people started a campaign to save it after a public meeting.
The fears surrounding the hospitals arose after Ceredigion AM Elin Jones claimed Ceredigion NHS Trust faced a shortfall of 1.1m, which threatened services at the two hospitals.
Ms Jones and Ceredigion MP Mark Williams both spoke at Monday night's meeting.

A letter from the chairman of the NHS trust, Eleri Ebenezer, was read out at the meeting.
She said no decision had yet been made regarding Cardigan Hospital.
The trust and Ceredigion Local Health Board have said previously that they were looking closely at a number of options how to save money and they expect to discuss the situation further in a meeting in a few weeks time.
Cardigan Hospital has 25 beds and provides acute nursing care, rehabilitation and palliative care and also has a minor injury unit.
Tregaron Hospital, which has 29 inpatient beds, provides nursing, rehabilitation, recuperation and palliative care and a range of community nursing services.
At a public meeting last Wednesday in Tregaron, it was agreed to form a campaign committee and start a petition to oppose any threat to the hospital there.
At the NHS trust's board meeting in Tregaron last Thursday to discuss health issues in Ceredigion, more than 100 people protested outside.
The trust said that a full consultation period would be held before any decision was made on the future of Tregaron.
