Michael Hopkins had been missing from his home
A man's body has been found by walkers on Llangynidr Mountain in Powys.

The body of Michael Hopkins was discovered in a remote area around lunchtime on Saturday.

Dyfed-Powys Police helicopter and Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team were called out to help in the recovery.

The 35-year-old had been reported missing from his home in Rassau, Ebbw Vale since the beginning of April.

His next of kin and the coroner have been informed about his death.

Llangynidr Mountain near Crickhowell borders the Brecon Beacons and is a popular trail with walkers.
