Hollywood family fly out after visit to Wales
Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas's visit to Swansea to show eight-week-old baby Dylan to her family for the first time has come to an end.

The Hollywood family flew out by helicopter from Swansea airport.

Earlier, Royal dress designer David Emanuel was spotted at the Swansea hotel where engaged stars Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas were staying.

The man who designed the wedding dress for Diana, Princess of Wales, smiled and waved as he left the Marriott Hotel on Tuesday night but did not stop to talk to reporters.

Emanuel's spokeswoman, Janet Fitzgerald, said the designer had been in a meeting with Zeta Jones but insisted it was not to do with the design of her wedding dress.

The stars who are to marry in New York next month are thought to have flown into Cardiff International Airport on Saturday on a private jet from Bermuda.

The couple were seen ending their fourth day in Swansea with her soon-to-be husband in a fish restaurant, Hansons, at the Swansea Marina.

Earlier Zeta Jones made a surprise visit to a special care baby unit during a short break in her home town of Swansea.

Earlier on Tuesday the star's father Dai drove Catherine in a Jaguar to Swansea's Longfield Day Centre - of which she had secretly agreed to be patron.

Centre staff, who cater for young adults with cerebral palsy and other related disabilities, received a call asking if the film star could pop in for a visit.

"She is like a breath of fresh air. Everyone was absolutely thrilled by the visit," said centre administrator Denise Lucas.

"She is a former pupil of Dunbarton School which has links with the day centre.

"Catherine came to visit us when she was seven months pregnant.

"It was very low key at the time and nobody knew about it and she agreed to become patron of the day centre then and said she would be back. "

Mrs Lucas revealed that the actress had agreed to become patron for the centre earlier this summer.

"She was very friendly and natural and chatted with everyone," she added. "She had coffee with us and stayed about an hour in all. It was very exciting."

Over the weekend Zeta Jones and Douglas - who have taken over the bridal suite of the Swansea Marriott Hotel - threw a party for her relatives and friends.

Then on Saturday night, diners at Barrows, her favourite restaurant, watched the celebrated couple order seabass and lamb.

As his wife-to-be swapped notes with other women who had recently given birth, Douglas, a keen golfer, was busily trying out what south west Wales had to offer for the golfing enthusiast.

The couple are expected to fly out to Douglas's home in Majorca over the next few days.
