Plaid Cymru leader Ieuan Wyn Jones says his party will stand up for the people of Wales in Westminster.
The deputy first minister of the Welsh assembly said the party's role in Westminster would be vital in the event of a hung parliament.
Speaking at the same press conference, the party's director of elections, AM Helen Mary Jones, criticised Labour's record on the economy and said that the party would seek to close tax loop-holes for the super rich.
