Carwyn Jones sworn in as Wales' first minister

Carwyn Jones has been sworn in as the new first minister of Wales.

Mr Jones took the oath of office on a Welsh Bible in both Welsh and English languages, with the senior presiding judge on the Welsh circuit, Mr Justice Nigel Davis.

Mr Jones, who was elected Welsh Labour leader last week in succession to the retiring Rhodri Morgan, heads a coalition government with Plaid Cymru.
