A replica of Rochester Castle in Kent has been built at the troubled so-called Valleywood studios in south Wales, to shoot a medieval war film.
The Dragon International studios are being leased out to film Ironclad, set in the 13th Century, about a group of knights and their defence of Rochester castle from King John.
Scottish actor Brian Cox said it was refreshing to be in a British period drama filmed in its entirety in the UK.
The studios were mothballed 18 months ago and motion picture Ironclad is the first film to be shot there.
